INTRODUCTION

Pressure Vessels play vital role in Process and Power Generation Plants. If not properly designed or fabricated Pressure Vessels suffers many leakages/ failures. These failures lead to major shutdowns which results in loss the production or loss to power generation.

OBJECTIVES

  • This 5-days course aims at understanding of construction features of Pressure Vessels, Basic Principles in Pressure Vessels design, fabrication and inspection, as stipulated by ASME Section VIII Div 1 code. The course helps the participants to get a thorough overview of the ASME code requirements and their applications.
  • The course heavily relies on practical utility of the code by covering several examples, exercises and case studies.
